What you need to do

The core is free to use. Enterprise features, kept in a separately licensed part of the code, need a paid license in production.

For Plausible Analytics

Plausible CE is AGPL-3.0 and the tracker script is MIT. Code in extra/ powers paid Plausible Cloud features and grants no rights to use it; the CE build leaves it out.

AGPL-3.0 (Community Edition) + proprietary extra/ directory · Open source (copyleft). OSI-approved license that requires sharing changes under the same license when you distribute (AGPL: also when you offer it over a network).
